​Livable Meck is hosting a series of events to reengage partners and to hear from the community about how Livable Meck can help improve the lives of Mecklenburg County residents.  

The much-anticipated Violence Prevention Plan has just been released to the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners and the public. The innovative plan looks at community violence as a public health issue, with the focus being prevention. 

Nonprofits are the beating heart of Charlotte-Mecklenburg, providing services that make our community a better place to live. That is why Mecklenburg County provides Community Service Grants (CSG) to help fund nonprofits that meet many needs in the community. 

The Mecklenburg County Office of Economic Development offers two programs for small businesses that are in different stages of growth. 

The Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) will hold a regular meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022, at 6 p.m.

​Mecklenburg County will receive more than $32 million over the next 18 years to find solutions to the opioid epidemic in our community. 

Solve Industrial Motion Group (Solve), a leading manufacturer of bearings and power transmission products, has officially signed a lease a for a 282,134-square-foot, state-of-the-art distribution center in Mecklenburg County. 

​Mecklenburg County Public Health is offering the new COVID-19 vaccine boosters at its clinic locations. The new booster is also widely available throughout the County through healthcare providers and pharmacies.  

The Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners  (BOCC) will hold a Budget and Public Policy Meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 2:30 p.m.
