Mecklenburg County is celebrating women across the county and across the nation for Women’s Equality Day, marking the 105th anniversary of American women winning the right to vote.

Mecklenburg County has mailed 2025 bills for real property, individual personal property, and business personal property taxes as of July 29. Bills are due Sept. 1, 2025, and must be paid by Jan. 5, 2026, to avoid interest.

Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation is serving up a new volleyball league for girls ages 11-13. The league is the latest addition to a growing lineup of sports that Park and Recreation hosts for girls of all skill levels.
