Senior Shooters Photo Club
First Wednesday of the month
1 p.m.
New participants are always welcome. There will be a DVD series of lectures from the contributing photographer, Joel Sartore, from National Geographic magazine that will instruct you on the Fundamentals of Photography.

Gentle Yoga

$25/month with card, $30/month without card. Yoga combines breathing and relaxation techniques in combination with gentle stretches to help relieve stress and sore muscles.

This class combines stretching and cardiovascular endurance into a fun and exciting low-impact exercise program. $40/month.
Craft Therapy
Wednesday, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
You don't have to be an artist to create fun and useful items. Projects you create are extensions of yourself, your thoughts, your personality, and are practice in many professions as therapeutic activity. Crafting supports and encourages physical, mental, social and emotion well-being.
Crochet Club

The group is looking for new crochet group participants. Projects include making items to help make scarves and hats for Sickle Cell Anemia children ages 3 - 18 years as well as items to sell at the Senior Center. Yarn will be provided.
Mah Jong Classes
Wednesdays at 1 p.m.
An ancient Chinese game imported from China to America in the late 1920s. A family-friendly intelligence game which promotes psycho-social skills. Learn how to play. Call to register.

Tai Chi Classes
Wednesdays
1 p.m. - 2 p.m.
Tai Chi practiced by elders can relieve pain associated with osteoporosis, arthritis and a variety of other chronic pain conditions. It can also reduce stress, making the exercises a safer alternative than medications to treat anxiety, especially for elders sensitive to anti-anxiety medications.
Cost: $5 per class paid directly to instructor.

Wii Bowling Team

Here is a chance for you to get some exercise, improve your hand-eye coordination and experience some health competition all the while having a good time. There is a small fee to join this league which will be used for prizes and an end of season event. This fun group will also be challenging the Wii bowling teams at other older adult facilities in the area.
