Stevens Creek Nature Center is located within the 281-acre nature preserve of the same name. The preserve protects the restored creek which is the historic range of the Federally endangered Carolina Heelsplitter Mussel. Over two miles of looped trails meander through forested spaces here at Stevens Creek.  Stop and observe nature in action down by the creek, watch birds in our bird garden or try our slackline.

Stevens Creek offers public and private programs for individuals and groups.  Stevens Creek Nature Center features live, native animals, an exhibit hall, a classroom, and a gift shop

The Preserve is open for hiking from sunup to sundown, 7 days per week.  Please note that wheels of any kind (bikes, 4-wheelers, ATV's etc.) are not permitted on trails.
