The Chapel was designated as a Historic Landmark in 1975 and is available for weddings, memorial services and other ceremonies. One dressing room is available for use by the customer. Limited decorations are available for rent. Various rules apply for the use of the Chapel, please call for availability and additional information.

Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation (MCPR) will require users of any facility to follow all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines with respect to COVID-19 and comply with all current North Carolina Governor Executive Orders and guidelines established by the County.
RENTAL FEES
Wedding slots are scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays in 2 hour 30 minute increments.
Rehearsals are 1 hour in duration; scheduled on Thursdays and Fridays.
Bookings can be made 12 months from the event date.

Payment in full is required to secure the booking; deposits are not accepted and temporary holds are not available. Reservation forms are available at the Historic St. Mary’s Chapel by appointment only.
Payments can be received onsite via Mastercard, Visa, and Discover during scheduled appointments.
