​Summer Camps​

  All Aquatic summer camp registration begins at 7am on February 1st

Camp Neptune
Kids participate in new and exciting aquatic exercises such as: water polo, springboard diving, water basketball, snorkeling, log rolling and more.  We also take two field trips to Carowinds Water Park and Whitewater Center for rafting.  Kids must be strong swimmers to participate. This summer camp is for children ages 8 - 13.  Children spend most of their day in 13 feet of water.  Camp dates, prices, and times are on the brochure.  No online registration.


Cost - $195 per week, $175 per week (Aquatics Member Rate)

Prerequisite: Must be able to swim 200 yards unassisted in deep water

Jr. Lifeguarding Camp
The best camp to introduce children to lifeguarding using the Starguard Start Program. This program will
focus on the prevention of aquatic accidents, responding in emergency situations, as well as developing leadership skills.  No online registration.

Cost - $175 per week, $150 per week (Aquatics Member Rate)
Ages: 10 - 15

Prerequisite: Must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted

Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center Summer Camp Information

ABOUT OUR CAMPS  

  • Camps are staffed by professional Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation employees. 
  • Camper to staff ratio = 10:1.
  • Campers will need to provide their own lunch and 2 snacks daily (refrigeration may not be available). 
  • Campers are required to provide their own swim suit & towel, tennis shoes, sun block, and water bottle.
  • No money, toys, cell phones or games.  We'll be too busy to play or spend!
  • Camp hours: 7:30am-6pm unless otherwise noted.
  • Registration begins February 1, 2019 at 7am
  • Camp space is limited so register as soon as possible. You can check availability online at eParks. Registration takes place at MCAC.
