Four-part program that offers families simple solutions to help them eat smart and move more. 

Food Access Services​
Our work serves to increase the availability of healthy and nutritious foods for all in Mecklenburg County. This page will provide information on our local farmers markets, community gardens and healthy corner stores. ​

Healthy Weight, Healthy Child
The Healthy Weight, Healthy Child Initiative is working to reverse the pediatric obesity trend in Mecklenburg County.

Nutrition and Physical Activity Self-Assessment for Child ​Care (NAP SACC)
The NAP SACC program assists childcare centers in assessing and setting goals to improve nutrition and physical activity practices.

Safe Routes to School (SRTS)
This program is designed to work with parent groups, children and school staff to encourage students to walk and bike to and from schools. 

Working Toward Wellness 
Provides businesses in Mecklenburg County with the tools and resources that help develop a “culture of wellness” in the workplace. Free assessments, recommendations, support and networking for worksite wellness program administrators.
