The Career Open House is open to the public. You are invited to meet with staff and hear more about our opportunities. Hiring managers and recruiters will be onsite to answer questions and assist with the application process. Business attire and copies of your resume are highly recommended.
The Career Open House will showcase three positions vital to our community:

Child Welfare Specialist: Serves residents who require services regarding issues of abuse, neglect, dependency, delinquency and adoption. Child welfare specialist work to address the needs of children and families in areas of mental health, poverty, unemployment, substance abuse, rehab, housing, childcare, medical care, and other life domains. Eligibility Specialist: Serves residents who require social services and/or participate in public assistance programs which include Medicaid, Food and Nutrition Services or WorkFirst. This position serves as an initial point of contact for customers, providing general information, answering questions, determining eligibility for programs, processing applications, and making referrals using excellent customer service and follow-up skills. Commercial Driver: Drivers with a valid N.C. driver's license, CDL license, clean driving record and a caring demeanor to transport residents within Charlotte-Mecklenburg. This position is expected to provide safe, door-to-door transportation for residents of all ages and may include meal delivery to homebound customers. Passengers who are elderly and/or disabled may require physical assistance. Learn more and apply here.
