Treatment Program - Detention Central
The Detention Center at Jail Central resumed modified substance use services April 13th, 2020 and will continue to provide services as directed by the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office.
Treatment Program - Shelters
Substance Use Services provided at the Salvation Army Center of Hope Women's Shelter, Roof Above Men's Shelter, and Safe Alliance Domestic Violence Shelter have resumed with minor modifications to our programs. Our aim is to continue to provide enhanced services to individuals at these locations. Those seeking services may be required to contact 211 to gain admission to the shelters and complete a health screening.

Treatment Program - CREW
Since the onset of COVID-19, Community Resource for Empowerment and Wellness (CREW) staff has done their best to assure the safety and well-being of the clients enrolled in the program. CREW continues to provide check-ins as well as case management services. Clients are provided a Crisis Card containing information regarding emergency contacts. Staff in collaboration with Duke, continue to facilitate referrals to places such as Loaves and Fishes, medical appointments, and housing providers. New referrals are being accepted to the program. Peers hired through Duke continue to provide support to our clients.
