The next election is a primary election and

will be held March 3, 2020.

All voting places will be open March 3, 2020

from 6:30am until 7:30pm.

"Voters will not be required to show photo ID for the March 3, 2020 primary election.  In a December 31 order, a federal district court blocked North Carolina's voter photo ID requirement from taking effect. The injunction will remain in place until further order of the court."

 

To vote on March 3, 2020, you must have registered prior to Friday, February 7, 2020 (postmark accepted). You can register and vote at any early voting location.  You will need to bring proof of residency.   Click here for what you can bring to register and vote at early voting.

Ballot order was randomly determined pursuant to G.S. 163-165.6.  Each party will have a ballot and the candidiates will apear on the ballot in alpha order beginning with the letter O.

Have you received a Voter Card for someone who does not live at your address?

Please write on the mailing: "NOT AT THIS ADDRESS," draw a line through the barcode under the address and place back in your mailbox. No postage is necessary. In order for us to remove the voter from your address, we need their signature OR two (2) pieces of returned mail. Thank you for helping us keep the registration rolls accurate.
