For the health and safety of our staff and visitors, Mecklenburg County is limiting access to many county facilities due to the current COVID-19 health concern.  All Recreation, Nature, Aquatic Centers as well as playgrounds and other mass gathering spots are closed until further notice. At this time we are cancelling upcoming programs, events, and parties.  We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to seeing you again once this health concern has passed.

Every Child Can Swim Program
The Every Child Can Swim Program was created by Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department to provide FREE swim lessons to help ensure that every child can swim.  
These lessons are at the beginner level, with emphasis on water safety for ages 3-12. 

The lottery and lessons for March/April are canceled. We apologize for the inconvenience and will keep you updated when future opportunities become available.
