The Town of Mint Hill has pulled out of Mecklenburg County's order restricting alcohol and food sales after 11 p.m., and will follow Governor Cooper's order instead. Mecklenburg County's joint proclamation went into effect July 23 and included Mint Hill, Davidson, Matthews, Pineville and the City of Charlotte. The Governor's order is less restrictive and does not include banning food sales after 11 pm or closing restaurant bar areas to food sales. Town officials have issued a separate amended proclamation which can be viewed here.
