Mecklenburg County and the City of Charlotte will celebrate Small Business Month by honoring Minority, Women, Small Business Enterprises (MWSBE’s) during the eighth annual Crowns of Enterprise Awards ceremony. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, May 16, from 6-8 p.m., at the Palmer Building (2601 E 7th Street, Charlotte).
Awards will be presented to the Certified Small Business Enterprise of the Year, Certified Minority Business Enterprise of the Year, Certified Woman Business Enterprise of the Year, Prime Contractor of the Year and Diversity Advocate of the Year. Award recipients will be recognized for their services to the City of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County and demonstrating exemplary leadership and sound business strategies.
Tickets for the awards ceremony can be reserved here. Due to space limitations, tickets must be reserved by Friday, May 10.
The Crowns of Enterprise Awards acknowledge the hard work, resilience and economic impact of small businesses in the community. The program nurtures relationship building between businesses, officials and government agencies.
