Learn More About Your 2019 Real Estate Assessed Value at a Listening Session or Revaluation Workshop


notice of 2019 real estate assessed valueLast week, The Mecklenburg County Assessor’s Office mailed Notices of 2019 Real Estate Assessed Value to nearly 400,000 property owners across the County. These new values are also available online at It is important for property owners to remember that the notice is NOT a bill.

Property owners who have questions or just want to learn more are invited to attend a listening session or revaluation workshop during the month of February.

Dates and locations are listed below. Residents do not need to RSVP to attend.

  • Feb. 2, 1-3 p.m. – Revaluation Resources Q&A Community Workshop featuring District 5 Commissioner Susan B.  Harden, South County Library, 5801 Rea Road, Charlotte

  • Feb. 6, 6-8 p.m.  – District 1 Listening Session, Cornelius Town Hall, 21445 Catawba Ave., Cornelius (View presentation)

  • Feb. 11, 10:30 a.m. - noon - Town Hall Event with District 4 Commissioner Mark Jerrell, Shamrock Senior Center/Methodist Home Recreation Center, 3200 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte
