The Mecklenburg County Department of Social Services (DSS) Senior Nutrition Program is offering Grab & Go free hot and frozen meals for seniors (residents age 60 and older). Meals can be picked up from six locations. Participants are encouraged to contact the location closest to them to arrange meal pickups. Meal pickups must be reserved.

The South View and West Charlotte locations are
no longer active due to low participation. The Grab & Go meal service is provided by the DSS Services for Adults division as a safe alternative to the department's congregate meal sites during the pandemic.
