Ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, Public Health has opened an additional no-cost COVID-19 testing site at the Southeast Health Department (249 Billingsley Rd., Charlotte).
The testing site will be open:
Monday, Nov. 23 from 1 p.m.- 5 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 24 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
No-cost COVID-19 testing is also available at the NW Health Department (2845 Beatties Ford Rd., Charlotte) Monday through Friday. Hours are extended to 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. until further notice.
No-cost COVID-19 testing is also available at many sites including StarMed Healthcare, Walgreens Pharmacy, CVS Health, community health centers, and many other primary care providers throughout the County. To locate specific testing sites, visit the testing site locator on mecknc.gov/covid-19 or you can call the County's COVID-19 Hotline at 980-314-9400. If asked why you’re being tested, Mecklenburg County is an area experiencing high community transmission and individuals traveling or attending gatherings have been prioritized for testing by the NC DHHS.
