Mecklenburg County residents are able to review the Community Development Block Grant Program's (CDBG) draft 
FY 2022-23 Annual Action Plan (AAP) from May 21, 2022 to June 22, 2022. This annual document is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in order to receive federal assistance to address housing, economic development and community development issues. The AAP is a planning document the County submits each year to HUD detailing how the County proposes to spend the CDBG funds during the next program year. FY 2023 runs from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023.
A virtual public hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 6 p.m. via Zoom to obtain public feedback.
