Mecklenburg County, NC – Believe it or not, school starts soon! Make sure your kids have the immunizations they need to head back to school in August.
To better meet the needs of our clients, Public Health has planned a back-to-school immunization clinic this Saturday, July 25, at Beatties Ford Road Health Department, 2845 Beatties Ford Rd., Charlotte. Immunizations appointments are available from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Call 704-336-6500 or visit meckhealth.org for more information. Weekday immunization appointments (Monday – Friday) are also available.
At this time, due to COVID-19, we are asking clients to wear a mask or face covering for appointments and only allowing one adult to accompany each child to their appointment.
North Carolina law mandates that all school-aged children be up-to-date with certain shots in order to attend school. Children who do not provide proof of the minimum required immunizations within 30 days after the first day of school may be excluded.
