It may be the middle of winter, but Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation is already gearing up for those hot summer months with a wide selection of camps for youth and teens.
Beginning in February, the department will start accepting registration for 2019 summer camps in three phases. Feb. 1 – Aquatics, nature and specialty camps Feb. 8 – Traditional day camps at recreation centersFeb. 15 -Therapeutic Recreation camps View a list of camps here. Camps will take place from June through August at Park and Rec locations throughout the County.
Residents will be able to register one of three ways: 1. Click on “Eparks” at www.parkandrec.com, select the “Activities” tab at the top of the page and search “Summer Camps.”2. Call the location where the program is offered. 3. Come into a recreation, nature or aquatics facility. If you plan to register online or by phone, please pay with a Discover Card, Mastercard or Visa. Full payment is due at registration which is first come, first served. Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation welcomes people of all abilities to our programs and believes in the value of inclusive leisure and recreation experiences for all members of the community regardless of their level of ability.
