Groundwater and Wastewater Services (GWS) protects the public's health through the protection of the groundwater resource. GWS​ approves and oversees private wells, wastewater treatment and disposal systems, and other regulated sites.

Note: All wells that are abandoned must be registered to the SIP obtained for the project/site.  Well abandonment records must be submitted to GWS for processing.  Please include the associated SIP number on the abandonment forms.

Note: A permit is required before you begin investigation work at the site. You are required to have the permit on site while work is being conducted.
