The Senior Citizens Nutrition Program (SCNP) provides nutrition, socialization, and wellness activities to individuals 60 years and older residing in Mecklenburg County. Commonly known as “Meals on Wheels," our program facilitates programming with the goal of maintaining independence and improving quality of life for our participants.
The Senior Citizens Nutrition Program provides three options:
- Congregate Meal Service

There is no fee for any service. The program is supported by federal, state, and county funding, plus voluntary contributions from participants.
