The Mecklenburg County 7th Adoption Conference – "Adoption…The Journey to Permanency: MANIFESTING THE VISION"– serves to promote an enhanced awareness and understanding of adoption and provide participants with accurate information concerning adoption and parenting issues. The conference will also highlight the collaborative efforts of professionals, community partners, and foster/adoptive families in creating permanence for children in need of forever families. This conference is attended by 500 future adoptees, past adoptees, foster parents, adoptive parents, and adoption professionals and advocates who are involved in the foster care and adoption continuum.

Adoption Conference Registration
For in person attendance - The Mecklenburg County's 7th Annual Adoption Conference is taking place on Friday, May 20, 2022, at the University Hilton Charlotte Place, located at 8629 J M Keynes Drive in Charlotte, North Carolina 28262. Registration will begin promptly at 8:00 am. You will also be given the opportunity to enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast before the opening session begins at 9:00 am.
**Please note that, while masking and social distancing are no longer required by the CDC, participants are encouraged to practice hand hygiene, maintain safe distances when possible, and wear a mask if you are uncomfortable without one. We also ask that, if you are sick or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, you refrain from attending. No proof of vaccination is required. CDC Guidelines are subject to change and, if any changes are required regarding conference attendance, you will be notified via the email you provided.
