Daniel is a native Charlottean, a 9 year Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation professional, and an avid user of our Park and Recreation system. Daniel is the Manager for Eastway Regional, focusing on facility operations, staffing, and administrative functions. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife being active outdoors, traveling, or reading a good book.
Tari is originally from New York City, and is a wife and mother of two beautiful children. At Eastway Regional, Tari is responsible for diverse programming, outreach, and management of program staff. Tari loves providing only the best services for our community through recreation and enjoys spending time exploring new cuisines and outdoor adventures with her family.
Venetrese is a customer service professional with over 15 years of experience working for Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation. All things administrative come through the office of Venetrese including facility usage, rentals, memberships, and customer experience operations. She is a wife and mother of 3 who enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Brandyn holds a master’s degree from Western Kentucky University, is a Certified Youth Sports Administrator, and is the supervisor for sports and fitness components of Eastway Regional. In his free time, he enjoys attending sporting events and spending time with his wife Kathryn and bulldog Rex! Go Bills!

Originally from Rochester, NY, Diana supervises Youth, Senior, and Inclusion Programming at Eastway Regional. She is excited to provide a variety of programs and activities for all ages and abilities to enjoy. In her free time, Diana enjoys going for walks with her fiancé and two dogs, trying different workout classes, and exploring all that Charlotte has to offer.
Arleen is a native Charlottean and has 16 years’ experience with Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation. Arleen is over customer service and administrative front desk operations including facility usage, memberships, and more. Arleen is God first, family second, and in her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and serving the community.
A'Lexus is originally from Prince George's County, Maryland and moved to Charlotte 5 years ago. A'Lexus is dedicated to effectively meeting customer needs and is passionate about event planning. She is the point of contact for booking and planning your events at Eastway Regional. In her free time, A'Lexus enjoys exploring new restaurants with her husband, traveling, and cooking.
Originally from Port Charlotte, Florida, Maria is over youth programming at Eastway Regional. She is excited to bring new programs to the area and enjoys serving the community. A Wingate University graduate, Maria likes to spend her free time working out, going to the beach and coaching lacrosse.
Sean is originally from Cleveland, Ohio (GO BROWNS!) and recently graduated with his master’s degree from the University of Toledo in Recreational Administration. He moved to Charlotte in August 2020 and is very excited to serve as an Inclusion Recreational Specialist. In his spare time, he enjoys going on hikes, playing disc golf, and listening to music.
Doug is a native North Carolinian with brief stops in Virginia and South Carolina before returning home to Charlotte. Doug has 5 years of experience in recreation programming and will be focused on providing quality youth and adult athletic programs for Eastway Regional. During his time away from work, Doug enjoys watching and attending sporting events, getting outdoors, and spending time with his wife and dog.
Born and raised in the Carolina’s, Alden is lover of all things nature and an outdoors. He holds a master’s degree from the UNC Wilmington and has worked in the field of Environmental Education for 10 years. In his free time, Alden can be found hiking, golfing, and tending to his honey bees.
A recent migrant from Los Angeles, Kai brings a passion for multidimensional health and wellness and the determination to help people overcome obstacles and reach goals. In her spare time she enjoys culinary arts, Jazz, walking trails with her dog, and crushing a good workout!
Trina is originally from the Washington DC Metro area and recently relocated to Charlotte. For the last 15 years, Trina has enjoyed providing health centered fun and educational programs to seniors. In her spare time, she loves spending time with family and creating crafts and decorations.
