Solid Waste Virtual Recycling Presentations

Join us for an interactive presentation and dialogue with Mecklenburg County residents on how to Recycle Right. 

Upcoming webinar dates are:


The webinars are about 40 minutes, but typically requires an extra 15 minutes for questions.

The program includes:
  1. An overview of the residential curbside recycling process in Mecklenburg county.
  2. Challenges and costs of improper recycling. How residents can help!
  3. What is and is not recyclable.
  4. Interactive/fun game to solidify learning and clarify common misinformation.
  5. Ample time for Q&A/dialogue.

The presentation will be given by Mecklenburg County Residential Recycling Educators, Walker Spruill and Maitri Meyer. They have been sustainability enthusiasts for years and both have a strong passion to educate others on reduced consumption and proper recycling.

Only those that register in advance will receive the link to participate and the handout. We will also send a webinar recording link and a .pdf of the presentation afterward to registrants only. Interested in attending a virtual presentation, email us at: Solid Waste.
