Solid Waste Virtual Recycling Presentations

 Join Mecklenburg County and our training partner "Actually Done" for an interactive presentation and dialogue   with Mecklenburg County residents on how to Recycle Right. 
 Upcoming Webinar dates are:

 - April 22, 2021 at noon. To register for the Earth Day webinar, click here

 The webinars are about 40 minutes, but typically requires an extra 15 minutes for questions. To be eligible for 
 one of our prizes for attending, you need to stay for the entire event. 

 The program includes:

1. An overview of the residential curbside recycling process in Mecklenburg County;

2. Challenges and costs of improper recycling. How residents can help!

3. What is and is not recyclable.

4. Interactive/fun game to solidify learning and clarify common misinformation.

5. Ample time for Q & A/dialogue.

 The presentation will be given by Mecklenburg County Residential Recycling Educators, Walker Spruill and 
 Maitri Meyer. They have been sustainability enthusiasts for years and both have a strong passion to educate  
 others on reduced consumption and proper recycling.
