Mecklenburg County has an Agreement with CMS Schools to provide all Recycling and Trash services. The Schools pay for services and Mecklenburg County or its contracted providers provide all services. We store recycling cans for the schools and distribute them when needed.
Posters that highlight acceptable recycling materials, including milk and juice carton recycling.
Private schools are responsible for providing their own recycling containers and services.
Private schools may also enter into contracts with Mecklenburg County Solid Waste for providing service.
To request these services, contact us at Solidwaste@MeckNC.gov.
