Pending Air Quality Permits
Each month, the Air Quality
Commission (AQC) opens public comment for draft minor source (non-Title V) air
quality permit reviews per Mecklenburg County Air Pollution Ordinance,
Regulation 1.5213 – “Action on Application; Issuance of Permit”. Pending permits are placed
on the AQC agenda to open a 15-day public comment period.

General Comments to the Commission
The AQC will consider public comments relative to the function of the Commission as specified in the Charter. Public comments will be received by the members of the AQC during their monthly meetings.

Submitting Public Comments
Mecklenburg County Air Quality will consider comments made during Air Quality Commission meetings and written comments received before the Public Comment Closing Date for each item. Written comments should be mailed or emailed to:
