Human milk protects babies in a way that formula cannot. Babies who are breastfed are less likely to suffer from respiratory and ear infections, allergies, diabetes, obesity and childhood cancers. Breastfeeding is also good for mom! Mothers who breastfeed have lower rates of osteoporosis, breast and ovarian cancers and increased postpartum weight loss.
