The Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) is now accepting applications for Raise the Age Expansion Funds - Fiscal Year 2019-2020 in Mecklenburg County.
The Mecklenburg County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) has studied the risk factors and needs of Juvenile Court involved youth in the county and hereby publishes this Request for Proposals for Raise the Age Expansion Funds. The Council seeks proposals for community-based programs targeting delinquent youth and those youth exhibiting behaviors or lacking supervision which presents the highest risk of juvenile court involvement. The priority for these funds will be programming for youth ages 16 to 17, who are involved with the juvenile court system.
The approximately $381,715.00 anticipated allocation will be available for services provided for a six (6) month period, beginning January 1, 2020, and ending June 30, 2020.
