The Clerk to the Board will accept comments on the proposed FY2021 budget. All comments will be compiled and submitting to the Board of Commissioners at the Budget Public Hearing. Comments will be archived with the permanent meeting files. Please note, all information provided in comments are subject to the NC Public Records Law and will be released upon request.

Requirements to Speak
Speakers must provide a phone number when registering to speak and must be available to receive a phone call from the Clerk’s Office between 5:45 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 to ensure you are connected to the remote meeting to address the Board of County Commissioners.

Please list the specific budget topic you will be addressing in the "Subject" box. If you’re representing an organization, please list the organization in the "Organization" box. Please indicate if you are speaking alone or with a group by selecting "group" or "individual". An organization represented by one or two persons or an individual representing him or herself is allowed three (3) minutes to speak. Each organization is allowed no more than four (4) speakers with a time allotment of ten (10) minutes total for the group. The Board reserves the right to alter these rules on a case-by-case basis as necessary for the efficient and effective conduct of business.
