Child Support Debit Card (NCKIDSCARD)
The
SMIONE NCKIDSCARD is a Visa-branded North Carolina Child Support debit card issued by Bancorp Bank (the Bank). When child support is paid, it is deposited into your debit card account unless you have authorized direct deposit to your personal bank account.
Money should be available for your use by the 2nd business day after the payment is received by Child Support.

Direct Deposit
North Carolina CSE offers direct deposit services. Direct deposit is the automatic deposit of the payee’s child support payments directly into his or her checking or savings account through electronic funds transfer (EFT).
When a payment is posted to the payee’s child support case, the bank is notified to credit the payees account with the payment. In most instances, the bank receives the payment within two (2) business days after the CSE applies the payment to the case.
To sign up for direct deposit, complete and sign the Authorization For Automatic Deposit Of Child Support Form (
English/Spanish) and attach some form of verification of your account number and the banks transit number. (This form can be downloaded if you have Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not have Abode Reader installed, you may get a free version at www.adobe.com

After receiving the authorization form, CSE contacts your bank to set up direct deposit. Please allow 3-4 weeks for direct deposit to take effect. Until then, your support checks will arrive by mail or the Child Support Debit Card (NCKIDSCARD)

Your check or money order must be made payable to

Please include a
Payment Coupon or a blank sheet of paper with your name, address, social security number, MPI number, or docket number with your payment.
If you owe child support for more than one case, payments are automatically prorated among those cases.
